What's Driving MediaBros to Mars?
The MediaBros saga begins with Mars vibes: Three MIT geniuses in Boston created simulation programs for NASA's Mars missions. After the project, they founded the spin-off DataXu in 2009—the same year MediaBros was founded—to revolutionize online advertising with the same power – programmatic was born!
In 2011, DataXu rocked the standards for programmatic media as a co-founder of the Open RTB consortium. We at MediaBros began working with DataXu back in 2010, and in 2011, we launched the rockets for Switzerland's first retargeting network. In 2015, Sandro Catanzaro, DataXu founder, landed at our customer event – MediaBros had since become one of the largest DataXu partners in Europe. This Mars mission continues to shape our DNA and power to this day!
